Dave, the son of local dairy farmers, fell in love with his wife, Maryhelen, when she travelled from
Missouri during the summers to work at her parent's summer cabins called Red Cedar Lake Resort.
Dave long enjoyed a great Wisconsin tradition - riding and tinkering with snowmobiles. Already an avid
Minnesota Viking football fan, he also soon found another Minnesota-based brand to love - Viking
Snowmobiles. In 1971, a hobby turned into a business when Drew's Viking opened, a small repair
shop and Viking Snowmobile dealership owned and operated from the family's home basement.
In 1995, David & Maryhelen opened a store and service center to sell and service other snowmobile
brands plus ATVs. The new store, named Seasonal Power Toys & Bait, also expanded into outdoor
recreation with equipment and accessories and fishing supplies. Dock and Lift sales soon followed.
In 2008, cramped space forced another move, so Seasonal Power Toys & Bait moved only a 1/4 of a
mile down the road on Highway 48 to its present location. Please stop by and visit us!
